Privacy Policy
Updated October 1, 2026. This page describes the current information handling on hoopsontoday.com.
Contact form
When you submit our WPForms contact form, you provide your name, email address and message. We use that information to review your request and respond. Form notifications are sent to the site administrator by email. Email records may be retained as part of handling your request. Do not submit sensitive personal information.
Hosting and security
Our hosting provider may process standard access and security logs, including IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and browser information, to operate and protect the site. WordPress uses cookies for authenticated administrators. WPForms may process technical information to validate submissions and prevent spam.
Browser preferences
The schedule stores your selected display time zone in your browser’s local storage. That preference remains on your device and can be removed by clearing this site’s browser data. We do not request precise location for the schedule.
External links
Links to game listings, league sites, broadcasters and other websites are governed by those sites’ own privacy practices once you visit them.
Affiliate links
Some Amazon links include our affiliate identifier. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases. Clicking an affiliate link takes you to Amazon, which may use cookies or other identifiers to attribute a referral under its own privacy practices. We do not receive your Amazon login credentials or payment details through these links. Amazon Privacy Notice.
Advertising and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4, installed through Google Site Kit, to understand visits, traffic sources and how visitors use our pages. Google Analytics may use cookies and process information such as device and browser details, page addresses, referral information and interactions with the site. We use reports to improve schedules and viewing guides. Please do not include personal information in page URLs or correction links.
Learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services, review Google’s Privacy Policy, or use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on for supported browsers. You can also clear or restrict cookies through your browser settings.
Google AdSense advertising is not currently enabled on this site. We will update this policy and configure the applicable advertising consent controls before enabling ads.
Cookies and consent choices
We use Complianz and WP Consent API to manage cookie preferences, with Google Site Kit supplying Google Consent Mode signals. Our consent banner lets you accept, reject, or choose optional cookie categories. Statistics cookies support Google Analytics. Necessary storage supports site operation and remembers your consent choices. The schedule time-zone preference is stored locally in your browser. You can change or withdraw optional consent using the control below. Clearing browser data also removes saved preferences. We respect supported Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals by denying optional consent.
Google Analytics cookies commonly include _ga and a property-specific _ga_* cookie, which distinguish visits. Complianz and WP Consent API store consent preferences using cmplz_* and wp_consent_* cookies. Browser settings can remove or restrict cookies.
Questions or requests
Use our contact form for privacy questions or to request deletion of a contact message. Identify the message sufficiently for us to locate it; we may need to verify your request.
